Hospital Entry Locations
University Medical Center of El Paso has installed screening tents in order to protect the safety of our patients, visitors, and staff. They are being used to quickly screen visitors for signs and symptoms of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) while simultaneously allowing us to efficiently process visitors to our hospital. Standard entrances do not allow for time-consuming screening of patients and can create unnecessary backlog and risk to all concerned. Special considerations will go through Infection Control.
- Visitors will be given a colored wrist band that is changed daily
- Visitors will be asked to remove bands upon leaving the hospital
- Visitors will have bags checked before leaving the hospital
