The Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at UMC provides traditional, minimally invasive, and endovascular surgical treatments of atherosclerosis, aneurysms, and venous diseases.

We specialize in the comprehensive care for patients with all types of vascular conditions, including diseases of the vascular system, or arteries, veins and lymphatic circulation.  These conditions are managed by medical therapy, minimally-invasive catheter procedures, and traditional surgical treatment.

Dr. Gilbert Aidinian joins our new Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Center as the Division Chief to provide state of the art care and expertise throughout our El Paso community.  His training in both open and minimally invasive endovascular procedures will offer patients comprehensive treatment for their vascular conditions. His practice locations are located at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and University Medical Center.

Dr. Alireza Daneshpajouh is a new addition to our Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Center team. He has trained in open vascular and advanced endovascular surgery allowing him to provide a variety of treatment options for our community’s vascular pathologies. He also serves as an assistant professor at Texas Tech University enabling him to engage in surgical academia.
