UMC To Hold 'Mammothon Saturday' Oct. 20 At Its West Side Clinic -- Families Also Invited For Flu Shots

EL PASO, Texas – University Medical Center of El Paso offers women throughout El Paso the opportunity to get or register for a mammogram during UMC’s Community Mammothon from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the UMC West Clinic, on 6600 North Desert Boulevard (take Exit 8).

Families are invited to come get their annual flu shots on the same day. Women who come to the clinic and register for (or receive) their mammogram Oct. 20 will get a free pass to the movies and other goodies. UMC’s 45,000 square foot clinic in west El Paso features a 3D mammogram system that is the latest in the industry, able to find cysts and tumors 40 percent sooner than other systems.
