1. One year experience as a Nurse Practitioner required in an ambulatory care clinic, acute and /or sub-acute hospital or long term care facility..

B. License/Registration/Certification:
1. Advanced Certified Nurse Practitioner from The National Certification Corp. or other body accredited by the Texas Board of Nursing preferably as a Certified Geriatric Nurse Practitioner (GNP-c).
2. Current CPR Training.
3. Current ACLS certification.
4. If not a GNP, certification as a GNP within 4 years of employment.

C. Education and Training:
Masters or Post Masters level Nurse Practitioner.
