Telemetry

"We don't only give our care, we give our hearts as well"

UMC’s Telemetry Unit is a 33 bed unit that offers services to Cardiovascular, General Surgery and Medicine patients. Our patient population includes clients with medical problems such as chest pain, congestive heart failure, diabetes and pneumonia. Patients admitted to the unit may include those with multi-system complications and conditions. Together with our sister unit of CVICU, UMC’s telemetry patients receive top notch, evidence-based care. Our friendly environment will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide a higher level of nursing care. An exciting and challenging place to learn, our nurses are required to complete a Dysrhythmia Interpretation and treatment course and be certified in ACLS.
